  Popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo has reportedly died. According to reports, four actors including Junior Pope fell into Anam River in Anambra State, on their way to a movie location and their bodies have been recovered. The actor had earlier shared a video of himself and others on a boat, on their way to the movie location. Captioning the video, he wrote: “See me lamenting….The risk we take to entertain you; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…. Na wahooooo Who does that ??” Some of his colleagues reacted in the comment section of the video shortly after his death was announced. “Jesus! Oh Lord! Oh Lord,” Tana Adelana wrote. “I’m so sad. can’t believe this. Big Sam where are you? am shaking,” Yvonne Jegede wrote. The 39-year-old was married to Jennifer Awele. They have three children together.

  A corps member identified as Bright has reportedly died at the Osun State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).   According to his colleagues, Bright reportedly went to bed and didnt wake up the following morning.    “He slept day before yesterday night and couldn't wake up in the morning,” one Lawrence Echezona said on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

  This is very sad. A Nigerian man has left his family and friends in lament following his untimely death. According to Viviana Osakwe who shared the sad report, the man died a day to his wedding after completing the marriage introduction. His supposed wedding day turned out to be the day he was buried. The cause of the man's death has not been revealed as at the time of this report as he was hurriedly laid to rest. Family, friends and colleagues were in tears during his burial. May his soul rest in peace.
